Sub:- School Education – Implementation of Half Day schools to the students from the 1st April – Request to take necessary action – Reg.
I bring to your kind notice that the Government is conducting Half day schools from the middle of March month in every academic year due to severity of hot weather, but no such commencement date has been announced for implementation of the half day schools in this academic year till date. In this connection, it is to inform that the temperature is rising day by day and recorded 36 degrees temperature for the last three days in the state and the temperatures are likely to rise further from the 1st April. Due to this, the students will be suffered allot by the heat waves and also there is chance to get sunstroke.
In view of the above, I request to issue necessary instructions to the authorities concerned to implement the Half day schools to the students from the 1st April, 2022 in view of the health and safety of the students. I solicit your early action in this regard.
