The Court made the following Order:
Heard Sri M. Vijaya Kumar, Learned Senior Counsel assisted by Sri Manoj Kumar Bethapudi, Learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioners and Smt. M. Hemalatha, Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-III.
2. Let Counter Affidavit be filed within four weeks. Two weeks thereafter for filing Re-joinder, if any.
3. There shall be a direction to the Respondents not to fill up any
post from the category of Lecturer, DIET (Category-2), until
further/Final Orders of this Court.
4. The Writ Petitioners are directed to submit a Representation to the Respondent No.2 within one week from today for the consideration of their candidature. Upon such receipt of Representation, the Respondents are directed to consider the Representation of the Writ Petitioners in accordance with law and pass a Speaking Order with regard to their entitlement of promotion, within three weeks thereafter and communicate such Order to the Writ Petitioners forthwith.
5. List the matter on 12.04.2024.
